Job summary

BS&A Software is seeking an AI Automation & Integration Engineer to design, configure, and operate a shared AI foundation that enables BS&A teams to deliver AI solutions safely and cost-effectively.

The role focuses on integration, automation, and enablement—connecting approved models to BS&A systems, building reusable patterns, and guiding production deployments while ensuring governance and security are maintained.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of professional software, platform, or integration engineering experience.
• Hands-on AI-enabled apps/workflows using LLM APIs from Anthropic, OpenAI, or equivalents.
• Experience with retrieval and knowledge integration, tool calling, AI orchestration.
• Ability to build integrations with enterprise systems like SharePoint, Confluence, Jira, Salesforce.
• Working knowledge of Azure cloud, CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, and observability.
• Experience with low-code automation/agent orchestration tools (Copilot Studio, Power Platform, n8n, Zapier).
• Understanding of data classification, auth, access control, secrets management, secure patterns.
• Strong collaboration and communication with engineers, architects, IT & Security.

Responsibilities

• Configure BS&A capabilities and build custom solutions when needed.
• Develop enterprise AI solutions and enable departments to reuse shared capabilities.
• Implement CoE-built solutions following AI engineering standards.
• Support build/buy decisions via proofs of concept and cost, latency, security analyses.
• Provide early technical input for production release decisions with CTO and IT & Security.
• Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and access details for solutions.
