Atkore International is expanding its AI capabilities and seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to join the Enterprise Architecture, Data Services and Automation team. The role focuses on building secure integrations, AI agent runtimes, and scalable interfaces that connect AI models with core enterprise systems across On-site offices in Mokena, IL or Dallas, TX.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in backend or enterprise integration, strong Python and API skills, and hands-on experience with

Qualifications

• BS/BA in CS or related field
• 5+ years in backend development or enterprise integration
• Proficiency in Python, RESTful APIs, JSON and YAML
• Experience with enterprise data platforms and messaging systems
• Familiarity with AI agent architectures and LLM APIs

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and maintain AI agent runtimes and integrations
• Develop connectors with ERP, MES, CRM, databases, and file systems
• Expose data via REST/GraphQL/APIs
• Implement observability and error handling
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to productionize AI
• Contribute to metadata standards and interface contracts
• Support security, governance, and infrastructure alignment
• Stay current with AI agent architectures
