Job summary

Atkore is seeking an AI DevOps Engineer to design and operate foundational infrastructure for enterprise AI capabilities. You’ll enable scalable, secure AI agent development and integration across business and manufacturing platforms.

The role collaborates with Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, Data Services, and application teams to ensure compliant platforms that align with IT standards. Based in the US, office options include Mokena, IL or Dallas, TX.

Qualifications

• BS / BA in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering or Infrastructure roles.
• Expertise with containerization/orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and IaC tools (Terraform).
• Hands-on with public cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Experience supporting AI/ML infrastructure platforms and secure API design.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud and hybrid infrastructure for AI workloads.
• Engineer scalable environments for AI agent execution and model serving.
• Design and manage APIs and microservices for secure data access.
• Integrate AI infrastructure with data lakes and analytics environments.
• Implement CI/CD, IaC, and automation for reliability and repeatability.
• Establish MLOps practices for deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
