Job summary

Neural Concept in Detroit-area is seeking a Solutions Engineer for the US East Coast. You will bridge engineering credibility with strategic influence, owning discovery, demos, and the full pre-sales motion while serving as the technical compass for the client lifecycle.

The role blends engineering depth with account strategy, requiring CAD/CAE familiarity, Python prototyping, and strong executive communication. A hybrid work model and competitive salary are provided.

Qualifications

Engineering degree (mechanical/aerospace/automotive/industrial) with CAD/CAE workflow knowledge.
Curious, people-driven; earns trust with client challenges.
Proactive, commercially minded; moves accounts forward.
Confident challenger; asks tough questions and reframes assumptions.
Outstanding communicator; owns executive conversations and strategy.
Understanding of AI/ML in engineering; capable of demos with Python.
Client-facing experience: pre-sales, solutions consulting or technical mgmt.
Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

Position NC as a long-term strategic partner across engineering teams, managers and VPs.
Lead discovery sessions to identify high-impact use cases with commercial grounding.
Define AI strategy and roadmap for each account with a multi-horizon view.
Create and deliver client-tailored demos and presentations tied to workflows.
Co-own the Statement of Work with knowledge of technical building blocks.
Prepare and run Steering Committees aligning engineering to outcomes.
Drive user adoption across technical users, managers and designers.
Identify upsell opportunities and shape them into proposals.
Collaborate with Sales and the Forward Deployed Engineering team through transitions.
