Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a skilled software engineer to join an embedded technical team within our People Services organization. You will build and maintain data pipelines, AI-powered apps, and analytics tools that shape how the company invests in its workforce.

You will work with enterprise data sources like Workday and Databricks-powered data lakes, writing Python across notebooks and full web stacks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, modifying, developing and implementing software applications using agile methods.
• Experience writing source code for new applications or enhancing code samples.
• Experience with Agile, extreme programming, product management, and software products.
• Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization.
• Knowledge of AI systems architecture, AI platforms, or MLflow.
• Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance.
• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years in software engineering, or 5+ years in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years of experience with software development using languages/tools such as JavaScript, Python, or Scala.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production-grade data pipelines, AI-powered applications, and analytics tools.
• Work hands-on with enterprise data sources, including Workday and Azure-based data lakes powered by Databricks.
• Develop and extend REST APIs and front-end interfaces for HR professionals and leadership.
• Integrate large language model capabilities into applied workflows to solve workforce challenges.
• Operate with full team oversight and career management from your DART team leadership.
• Code is shipped to production within a collaborative engineering culture.
