Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop, and deploy production-grade applications and data pipelines. You will build AI-powered features and REST APIs across Python-based stacks, integrating LLM capabilities into workflows for HR-driven analytics.

The role emphasizes agile development, code refinement, and collaboration with enterprise data sources and front-end interfaces, including web apps for HR leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software applications using agile methods.
• 5+ years of experience with software development using programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Scala.
• Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, product management, and software product development.
• Knowledge of AI systems architecture, AI platforms, or MLflow.
• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in software engineering, or 5+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications using agile methodologies.
• Write new source code and enhance code samples for existing applications.
• Acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation and optimization.
• Build, maintain, and monitor production data pipelines, REST APIs, and front-end interfaces.
• Integrate AI/ML systems, including large language models, into production workflows.
• Operate with full team oversight and career management within the DART team.
