Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Data Engineer, Mid, in the United States to help transform disparate data into actionable insights for mission-driven projects across fraud detection, healthcare research, and national intelligence.

You will build data pipelines and platforms, work with analysts, engineers, and data consumers in an agile environment, and apply Python, SQL, and GenAI techniques to prepare data for AI models.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with Python and R
• 2+ years of experience retrieving, merging, and analyzing structured and unstructured data sources from APIs and databases using Python, R, or SQL
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI (GenAI)
• Experience preparing data for AI or GenAI models
• Experience with data analytics, data mining, statistical analysis, or AI/ML
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in data engineering, or 7+ years of experience in data engineering in lieu of a degree

Responsibilities

• Build data pipelines and platforms to organize disparate data
• Collaborate with analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers in an agile environment
• Manage assessment, design, build, and maintenance of scalable data platforms
• Guide a multi-disciplinary team through data engineering tasks
• Apply analytical exploration and data examination techniques
