Job summary

Babson College is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer, Advancement to design, build, and scale AI-enabled solutions for fundraising and alumni engagement. You will collaborate with Advancement, IT, Analytics, and CRM teams to translate business needs into secure, scalable AI capabilities, including agentic workflows and retrieval-augmented generation.

The role emphasizes responsible AI, data governance, and measurable impact on fundraising productivity and decision support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent AI/data experience may be considered.
• 4+ years building or deploying AI/enterprise software.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with CRM data and donor/constituent data.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI development and agent workflows.
• Cloud-based AI services experience (Azure, Salesforce, etc.).
• Ability to translate requirements to technical solutions and drive adoption.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and improve AI solutions for Advancement CRM data and related systems.
• Build an AI roadmap with high-value use cases for fundraising, stewardship, and engagement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, Analytics, CRM, and end users to deploy AI-enabled services.
• Develop AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation, and API integrations.
• Gather requirements, prototype, test, train users, and drive adoption.
• Ensure privacy, security, governance, and responsible AI practices in solutions.
• Establish evaluation frameworks for accuracy, latency, cost, and ROI.
