Job summary

Applause is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to drive AI adoption across all teams. You will build and maintain a monthly roadmap of AI-powered workflows for Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, and HR/TA, then implement them: set up tools, wire integrations into core systems, train teams, and track ROI.

This is a builder role working with the CTO and Chief Architect on governance while you execute and deliver impact across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2–4 years in AI/LLM implementation, workflow automation, or related hands-on roles.
• Able to write and modify code for simple internal business applications.
• Experience building integrations or automations (Zapier, Make, APIs, low-code/no-code).
• Working knowledge of AI tools Claude, Copilot, and similar applied to workflows.
• Comfortable cross-functional collaboration with non-technical teams.
• Strong communicator and ability to troubleshoot with non-technical users.
• Detail-oriented with ownership from start to finish.
• Very effective in a remote work environment.

Responsibilities

• AI Workflow Roadmap & Delivery across departments (excluding Product and Engineering).
• Build monthly roadmaps of AI workflows prioritized by productivity or cost impact.
• Identify manual work and design AI-driven workflows to replace or accelerate it.
• Ship the workflows you scope: configure tools, build automations, and deploy them into daily use.
• Iterate post-launch based on usage and feedback.
• Support system implementations for AI tools, partnering with CTO and Engineering.
• Connect AI tools into core business systems (CRM, HRIS, finance tools, Slack).
• Evaluate and pilot new AI tools for departments and use cases; recommend adoption or retirement.
• Train department teams on workflows and track adoption.
• Report progress monthly to the CTO on workflow delivery, adoption, and ROI.
