TEKsystems is seeking an experienced AI Architect to guide partner-led AI initiatives on a Microsoft Azure-based data and AI platform. The role focuses on governance and oversight, serving as the internal SME to ensure chatbots and agentic AI workflows meet our exacting standards and deliverables.

You will review designs, validate architectures, and engage stakeholders, driving quality and cost efficiency in enterprise AI deployments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience, including 2+ years in GenAI/LLM development.
• Hands-on with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector search and tool/function calling.

Top Skills' Details Experience:

8+ years overall, including 2+ years of hands-on GenAI/LLM development.

Strong experience building GenAI applications, AI agents, agentic workflows and multi-agent solutions.

Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector search, prompt engineering and tool/function calling.

Experience with unstructured data processing, including PDF/document extraction, OCR, image processing, classification and summarization.

Description

Our client continues its major investment in a unified, Microsoft Azure-based data and AI platform, we are looking for an experienced AI Architect to guide our partner-led initiatives. This role is focused on governance and oversight, not direct implementation. You will be the internal subject matter expert responsible for ensuring that AI solutions, from chatbots to complex agentic AI workflows, are designed and built to our exacting standards, ultimately ensuring the successful delivery of the final product.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

AI Solution Oversight: Provide expert review and guidance on AI projects delivered by external partners, with a focus on agentic AI use cases, chatbots, and data orchestration workflows.

Architectural Validation: Review partner-proposed designs and architecture to ensure they are sound, scalable, and aligned with the product's strategic goals and our internal technical principles.

Partner & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the internal AI expert in project meetings, ensuring our requirements are understood and implemented correctly by our partners.

Quality Assurance: Monitor the development lifecycle to ensure the final AI product is delivered in the right way and meets all functional and non-functional requirements, including handling both structured and unstructured data.

Corporate Acumen: Demonstrated experience working within large, complex corporate environments. You must be process-oriented and understand how to navigate a large enterprise effectively.

Strategic Thinking: Must be a strategic thinker capable of "connecting the dots" between technical implementation and business objectives. This role requires a consultative mindset, not just hands-on skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $89.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
