Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a contract-based AI platform engineer to design, develop, and maintain an enterprise AI agent platform in Google Cloud. You will build AI agents supporting marketing workflows, campaign management, budgeting, reporting, and brand performance.

You will integrate agents with Salesforce, Sigma, Adobe, Smartsheet and other marketing tools, and advance agent capabilities using LWC, APIs, and existing integrations. Hybrid SF position in the US.

Qualifications

• Experience with AI coding assistants and GenAI design patterns.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain an enterprise platform for building, deploying, and supporting AI agents within a Google Cloud environment.

Develop and implement AI agents that support business and marketing workflows, including campaign management, budgeting, advertising spend, reporting, and brand performance.

Integrate AI agents with enterprise applications and data sources including Salesforce, Sigma, Adobe, Smartsheet, and other marketing platforms.

Develop agent capabilities within Salesforce and the existing brand portal environment, leveraging Salesforce Sales Cloud, Lightning Web Components (LWC), APIs, and existing integrations.

Build and maintain agentic AI workflows using Generative AI technologies, including LLM orchestration, prompt engineering, RAG, tool/API calling, structured outputs, and multi-step agent workflows.

Leverage Google Cloud and Vertex AI services to develop, deploy, and support enterprise AI applications and agent capabilities.

Use AI coding assistants, particularly Claude Code, to accelerate software development while reviewing, validating, troubleshooting, and improving AI-generated code to ensure quality and accuracy.

Develop and support backend services and APIs using Python and technologies such as FastAPI to enable communication between AI agents, enterprise applications, and business data sources.

Evaluate and troubleshoot agent behavior, application integrations, and production issues across the AI platform and connected enterprise systems.

Implement monitoring and observability for AI applications, including agent performance, traces, errors, token usage, system performance, and cost.

Collaborate with product teams, architects, solution engineers, and business stakeholders to translate marketing and brand requirements into scalable agentic AI solutions.

Support the deployment, ongoing maintenance, optimization, and operational readiness of AI agents and the underlying agent platform.

Provide technical guidance on agent development, AI-assisted software development, integration patterns, and GenAI development best practices

Qualifications

AI Coding Assistants (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf)

Generative AI Application Development/Generative AI Design Patterns

GenAI cloud platforms (Google Cloud Vertex AI, Gemini, Anthropic Claude, OpenAI)

LLM Observability and Tracing (LangFuse, LangSmith, or similar)

Prompt Engineering techniques (e.g., chain-of-thought, few-shot learning, structured outputs)

Python, FastAPI, async programming, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy ORM React, TypeScript, Zustand state management, Material-UI (MUI) Data visualization libraries (Recharts, D3.js)

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of San Francisco, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $85.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
