Job summary

TEKsystems seeks an AI and Automation Manager to lead planning, development, and implementation of AI automation strategies. You will supervise multidisciplinary teams, align projects with business goals, ethics, and regulatory requirements.

You will oversee end-to-end AI projects, collaborate across IT, product, operations, and compliance, manage budgets and timelines, and foster learning and innovation within the team. This is a contract, hybrid role based in Honolulu, HI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, AI, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Five years of managing AI, Automation, ML, or data science projects.
• Two years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms and data technologies.
• Deep understanding of AI methods including supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, CV, and predictive analytics.
• Familiarity with GDPR/CCPA and AI ethics in development.
• Strong data security and privacy knowledge in AI.
• Proficiency in Python and R; experience with TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• MS Office proficiency.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years of experience in managing AI, Automation, machine learning, or data science projects.
• Two years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms and data technologies.
• Deep understanding of AI methodologies, including supervised and unsupervised learning, NLP, computer vision, and predictive analytics.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and ethical principles in AI development.
• Strong understanding of data security, privacy, and ethical considerations in AI.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and AI frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days in the office located in Honolulu, HI, USA. The workspace is a collaborative environment where you can demonstrate your findings and ideas to the group.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41.35 - $62.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
