TeamViewer in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Engineering Leader to guide a team of 6-8 engineers, shaping architecture, mentoring engineers, and driving high-quality delivery. You will partner with teams across Austin and EMEA to plan and deliver features, establish engineering best practices, and balance technical excellence with business priorities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with leadership.
• Distributed systems experience in complex software products.
• Delivery in agile environments with cross-functional teams.
• Quality driven through automated testing and code reviews.
• Strong problem-solving and balancing tech with business priorities.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams; German a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 6-8 engineers with coaching and guidance.
• Partner with teams across Austin and EMEA to plan and deliver features.
• Foster engineering culture focused on quality, collaboration and accountability.
• Establish and maintain best practices for software development, testing, security, and release management.
• Stay technically engaged by reviewing designs and guiding architecture decisions.
• Support agile planning with clear priorities and predictable delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align goals with execution.
• Grow the organization through hiring, onboarding, and career development.
