Job summary

Gartner, Inc. seeks a Senior Director to lead software engineering research within the BTI group. You will craft pragmatic market predictions, mentor teams, and advise technology executives on strategy through webinars, client meetings and Gartner events.

You will publish high-impact research, drive thought leadership, and actively participate in innovation discussions with peers across Gartner’s research community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Graduate degree preferred.
• 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience.
• Experience leading a software engineering organization and SaaS architecture.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze and predict software engineering trends and innovations.
• Create high-quality research reports and thought leadership.
• Advise executives on strategic decisions with frameworks and best practices.
• Develop and deliver presentations at Gartner events and client briefings.
• Collaborate with peers and represent Gartner research externally.
