Thomson Reuters Foundation is seeking a Manager, Software Development Engineering for CoCounsel FDE. You will guide engineers embedded with customers, turning complex problems into scalable AI solutions while balancing hands-on work and strategic leadership.

You will drive architecture, ensure secure, high-quality AI components, and mentor engineers to grow technically and professionally within a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software/solutions engineering, including leadership experience.
• Hands-on Python development with AWS services (Bedrock, Lambda, EC2) and deployment pipelines.
• Proven ability to scope, design, and deliver scalable AI/ML solutions with practical customer impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple cross-functional Forward Deployed Engineering teams.
• Architect scalable, secure AI/software solutions across the lifecycle.
• Guide MLOps and testing strategies for AI platforms.
• Hire, coach, and grow engineers with a focus on delivery quality.
