General Services Administration's Office of Technology Transformation Services (TTS) seeks an AI Software Engineer to set technical strategies and architectures for secure, ethical AI adoption across the federal government.

The role provides enterprise-wide engineering guidance on AI-enabled systems, cloud-native architectures, and data strategies, collaborating with stakeholders to influence national and international policies and deliver mission-ready solutions.

Qualifications

US citizenship or national; must meet eligibility within 30 days.
One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-12 in the Federal service.
Experience contributing to agile teams in developing and deploying digital products and services.

Responsibilities

Formulate and direct enterprise-wide engineering strategies for AI-enabled systems and cloud-native architectures.
Provide technical guidance on AI, data strategy, and emerging technologies.
Consult with agency personnel on national and international AI and policy matters.
Advise on efficiency and effectiveness of mission-critical programs and technology solutions.
Formulate implementation strategies and policies for agency-wide use.
