Job summary

General Services Administration (GSA) through the Office of Technology Transformation Services (TTS) seeks a Principal AI Software Engineer to shape enterprise AI strategies for federal agencies, aligning with cybersecurity and governance standards.

You will lead cross-agency AI projects, drive secure deployment, and define IT policies and guidance to support modern, interoperable cloud and on-premises infrastructures.

Qualifications

• Resume must show at least 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-14 or higher.
• Demonstrated ability to design and oversee AI/IT strategies across large, enterprise systems.
• Experience integrating security, privacy, and compliance into the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide AI engineering strategies for secure AI-enabled systems across cloud and legacy platforms.
• Direct cross-agency AI projects involving data platforms and secure computing infrastructures.
• Formulate IT policies, procedures, and guidance for enterprise IT implementations.
