General Services Administration (GSA) seeks a Senior AI Software Engineer to develop secure, ethical AI architectures across federal agencies. The role focuses on enterprise-wide engineering strategies and cloud-native platforms under the Office of Technology Transformation Services (TTS).

The candidate will guide cross-agency projects, shape national AI policies, and ensure security and trustworthiness in AI initiatives, aligning with government mandates and executive orders.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship or National (residents of American Samoa and Swains Island) or eligibility to work for the Federal government.
• One year of specialized experience or to meet stated competencies for GS-14 level.
• Demonstrated ability to define and apply AI engineering standards across large, secure systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide AI engineering strategies for secure, scalable systems.
• Provide technical SME guidance on AI-enabled architectures, hardware/software integration, and cloud-native platforms.
• Ensure compliance with federal mandates and policy directives in AI initiatives.
• Coordinate multi-agency AI projects involving data platforms and secure computing infrastructures.
• Establish and communicate government-wide standards for ethical, secure AI usage.
