Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a motivated AI Software Engineering Co-op to contribute to hands-on software development projects that enhance AI-powered solutions for industrial automation. You will work with experienced engineers, AI champions, and architects on real-world projects with mentorship and networking opportunities.

The role offers a hybrid schedule in Milwaukee, WI or Mayfield Heights, OH, full‑time availability for 6–8 months (January–August 2027 or June–December 2027).

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university.
• Legal authorisation to work in the U.S.
• We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas.
• Must be available full‑time, for 6‑8 months (Jan 2027‑Aug 2027 or Jun 2027‑Dec 2027).

Responsibilities

• Work with development teams to gain hands‑on experience in software development environments.
• Exposure to full development life cycle, agile methodology, system design, test automation, and build/configuration management.
• Build software applications, services, and integrations using modern software engineering practices and AI technologies.
