Job summary

A10 Networks is seeking a Sales Engineer to help prospects and customers understand, experience, and use the AI & Security platform. You will be the technical expert, demonstrating the solutions and leading evaluations with a hands-on approach.

You will collaborate with marketing, engage with customers at events, and work with engineering to address issues and provide product feedback. A10 values security, innovation, and technical credibility in the sales process.

Qualifications

• Passion for cyber security, AI and enterprise technology.
• Technical knowledge of cyber security and / or artificial intelligence systems.
• Strong enterprise systems & hands on experience with cloud infrastructure and deployment models including Kubernetes.
• 7-10 years experience with at least 5 years as a Sales Engineer in enterprise technology, preferably focused on cybersecurity, data/analytics or AI.

Responsibilities

• Explain, demonstrate and help prospects evaluate A10 Networks AI & Security solutions.
• Lead technical evaluations with a hands-on approach to testing and proof of concepts.
• Manage the proof of concept process with prospects & customers.
• Engage deeply with customers to answer questions, communicate plans, and manage expectations.
• Collaborate with marketing as a technical expert and voice for content.
• Support events, trade shows and conferences as a technical expert.
• Work with engineering to troubleshoot issues and provide product feedback.
• Evolve the technical sales process as needed.

As a sales engineer at A10 Networks you will be a key member of the team helping prospects and customers understand, experience and use the A10 Networks AI & Security platform. About The Role

The sales engineer will work closely with customers to establish technical credibility and drive technical value by explaining, showcasing, and helping to implement A10 Networks AI & Security solutions. You will be required to be a technical expert on A10 Networks AI & Security solutions and the overall AI security landscape such that you can present, demonstrate and help prospects evaluate the A10 Networks AI & Security solutions.

In This Role You Will

• Understand the value of the the A10 Networks AI & Security solutions platform and products
• Assist in technical qualification of sales prospects & leads
• Become a key technical expert for prospects & customers to
  • Demonstrate the A10 Networks AI & Security solutions and products to prospective customers
  • Lead prospective evaluations with a hands on approach to doing so
  • Manage the proof of concept process with prospects & customers
  • Engage deeply with customers and prospects to answer their questions, communicate plans, and manage expectations
• Engage with marketing to be a technical expert and voice for content
• Support events, trade shows, conferences as a technical expert
• Work with engineering to troubleshoot prospect issues and provide product feedback
• Become a key strategic voice in the direction of the product & technology
• Evolve the technical sales process as needed

The Skills Required For This Role

• Passion for cyber security, AI and enterprise technology
• Self starter, self motivated passionate technologist
• Technical knowledge of cyber security and / or artificial intelligence systems
• Strong enterprise systems & hands on experience with cloud infrastructure as well as associated deployment models (including kubernetes)
• Strong demonstrable communication skills that are customer facingAbility to adapt to change in a rapidly changing environment and earlier stage company
• Curious, technical mind, that seeks to understand and then be understood
• 7-10 years experience with at least 5 years as a Sales Engineer in enterprise technology preferable focused on cybersecurity, data/analytics or AI
