Job summary

Dell Technologies' Security & Resiliency Team in Round Rock, TX seeks an AI Solution Engineer, Security to design and implement AI-native security workflows. This senior IC role focuses on consolidating processes, defining agent boundaries, and embedding security into business and engineering workstreams.

You'll collaborate across security to reduce cycle times, address threats to agentic systems, and establish reusable references for scalable, verifiable security automation in production.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software or security engineering with production delivery.
• AI/agentic systems deployed in production with measurable impact.
• Deep agentic system engineering: loop design, memory, determinism, evaluation.
• Design of non-human identity and scoped credentials with audit trails.
• Strong programming in Python/TypeScript/Go; prototype and review code.
• Distributed systems: API, event-driven design, observability.
• Data modeling across systems of record and entity resolution.
• Experience leading cross-functional process consolidation.
• Security engineering knowledge to design credible workflows.
• Influence at senior levels; communicate to engineers and executives.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own the solution design for AI-native security workflows from problem statement through buildable specification.
• Determine whether to use an agent, deterministic automation, or leave as is, with documented reasoning.
• Collaborate with security teams to consolidate processes and define a shared data/evidence model.
• Define agent authority boundaries and enforcement mechanisms with scoped credentials.
• Design against prompt injection, tool abuse, and exfiltration risks in agentic systems.
• Baseline current cycle time and measure improvements after unification.
• Design for verifiability, failure containment, and escalation paths in workflows.
• Integrate with security tooling, data platforms, and APIs including MCP.
• Establish reusable reference architectures, agent primitives, and cost/reliability constraints.
