Job summary

Dell Technologies in Round Rock, TX seeks a seasoned Manager, Agentic Engineering to lead an AI-native security capability program. You will manage, coach, and shape engineers, own delivery commitments, and set direction for what to build, adopt, or retire in security AI efforts.

You will drive technical reviews, forecast capacity, attract and hire top talent, and communicate with executives to align risk, schedule, and technology choices while maintaining high engineering standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering with a record of building and shipping production systems.
• 3+ years managing engineers directly.
• Hands-on experience with AI-native system development and security-focused engineering.
• Demonstrated delivery accountability and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineers across build, evaluation, and operations, including performance management and career development.
• Hire into a market with scarce skills and manage an interview process to separate production from familiarity.
• Set and maintain the engineering bar through design and code reviews and technical debate.
• Own delivery commitments, forecast capacity, and report variance while corrective action is possible.
• Define and maintain the direction for AI-native capability in security and communicate decisions to executives.
