Job summary

Koniag Data Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks an AI Security Specialist/SME to support SBA in Washington, DC. You will lead AI security programs, governance, and risk management across the SBA enterprise.

The role requires expert-level AI/ML security knowledge, federal governance familiarity, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. You will collaborate with data science teams and drive security controls throughout the AI lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in cybersecurity, CS, AI, data science, or related field, or extensive relevant experience.
• 7+ years of progressive cybersecurity experience with AI/ML security in federal or large enterprise environment.
• Expert-level knowledge of AI/ML security principles and AI-specific threat vectors.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SBA's senior SME and technical lead for AI security, guiding policies and risk management.
• Develop, implement, and maintain SBA's AI security program and risk framework.
• Lead AI security risk assessments for SBA AI systems and initiatives.
• Provide lifecycle security guidance from requirements to operations for AI systems.
• Develop AI security assessment methodologies, testing frameworks, and evaluation criteria.
• Collaborate with data science and AI development teams to integrate security into workflows.
• Lead AI governance documentation including use-case inventories and impact assessments.
