Koniag Data Solutions in Washington, DC, seeks an AI Security Specialist/SME to lead AI security programs for SBA. The role requires deep AI/ML security expertise, risk management, and federal governance familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with extensive relevant work experience.
• 7+ years of progressive cybersecurity experience with AI/ML security focus.
• Expert-level knowledge of AI/ML security and related threat vectors.
• Familiarity with federal AI governance frameworks (NIST AI RMF, EO, OMB guidance).
• Senior-level cybersecurity certifications (CISSP/CISM) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SBA's AI security SME and provide strategic direction for AI security across SBA programs.
• Develop and maintain SBA's AI security program, policies, and risk management aligned with federal guidance.
• Lead AI security risk assessments for SBA AI systems and develop mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with data science, AI development, and application teams to embed security into development workflows.
• Develop AI governance documentation (use case inventories, impact assessments, system security plans).
• Deliver AI security training programs and participate in interagency engagements.
