JPMorganChase is seeking a Security Engineer to join the Cybersecurity & Technology Controls for AI/ML, delivering secure software solutions and shaping the future of software security at a leading global bank.

As a core technical contributor, you will work with cross-functional teams to design resilient AI architectures, implement red teaming playbooks, and ensure secure infrastructure across platforms and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Public Cloud concepts training or certification and hands-on cloud-native AI services experience.
• Practical experience with IaC solutions like Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in Python scripting.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and red-teaming foundations for complex AI architectures.
• Ability to design and communicate secure enterprise-level security solutions, dashboards, and automation for red teaming.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance security strategies, red teaming programs, and solution designs, troubleshoot issues and create scalable solutions.
• Design secure AI and software architectures, review designs and code for adversarial resilience.
• Reduce AI security vulnerabilities by following industry standards, AI safety research, policies, testing protocols and controls.
• Collaborate with product, data science, cyber, legal, and risk teams to understand AI use cases and regulatory changes.
• Automate discovery and adversarial testing on generative AI, RAG pipelines, and ML systems to identify prompt injection, jailbreaking, and data poisoning.
• Provide guidance on secure design, logging, monitoring, and compensating controls for AI apps and platforms.
• Define and implement AI red teaming playbooks, methodologies, and success metrics for continuous testing and safe rollout.
• Work with platform and cloud security teams to ensure secure infrastructure configuration and alignment with security architecture.
• Engage with external researchers, vendors, and standards bodies to track AI threats and bring best practices.
• Foster a culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
