Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Security Engineer to advance secure software solutions in AI/ML, within Cybersecurity & Technology Controls. You will lead red teaming, threat modeling, and secure design across cloud, platform, and enterprise architectures.

The role focuses on adversarial resilience, incident prevention, and collaboration with product, data science, cyber, legal, and risk teams for AI risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in Public Cloud concepts and hands-on cloud-native AI services.
• Experience with threat modeling, discovery, vulnerability testing (e.g., MITRE ATLAS, OWASP Top 10 for LLMs).
• Foundational cybersecurity concepts: IAM, Authentication, OIDC, SAML.
• Proficiency with IaC tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Strong Python scripting skills.
• Solid understanding of AI/ML trends and AI red teaming concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop security strategies, red teaming programs and scalable solutions.
• Design secure AI/ML architectures with adversarial resilience.
• Reduce AI/LLM vulnerabilities with testing, policies and controls.
• Collaborate with product, data science, cyber, legal and risk teams.
• Perform threat modeling and adversarial testing on generative AI and ML systems.
• Provide guidance on secure design, logging, monitoring and controls.
• Define AI red teaming playbooks and metrics for safe rollout.
• Work with platform and cloud security to ensure secure infrastructure.
• Engage with external researchers and standards bodies on AI threats.
• Foster diversity and inclusive team culture.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align AI risk tolerance.
