Job summary

Global Power Components in Milwaukee, WI seeks a hands-on Cybersecurity Analyst focused on AI and firewall security. You will govern AI tools (Microsoft 365 Copilot, AI agents) and administer the Ubiquiti UniFi firewall across sites to keep design corners secure and compliant.

The role covers security operations, incident response, and governance, collaborating with IT, engineering and operations to protect manufacturing processes and data while enabling productive AI-enabled workflows.

Qualifications

• BS in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years hands-on cybersecurity, network security, or related role.
• Hands-on AI solutions experience (e.g., Copilot, AI agents, APIs).
• 1+ year securing AI technologies and data protections for generative tools.
• 2+ years administering firewalls and network security, preferably UniFi.
• Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPN.
• Experience with Microsoft 365/Azure security: Entra ID, Defender, Purview.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF 2.0, MITRE ATT&CK, CIS Controls.
• Experience with SIEM/EDR/XDR and vulnerability management tools.
• Scripting or query skills (PowerShell, Python, KQL) and REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• AI Security & Governance: review tools, define security requirements, and enforce controls before go-live.
• Firewall & Network Security: admin UniFi firewall, segmentation, VPNs, and site connectivity.
• Security Operations & Incident Response: monitor alerts, use SIEM/XDR for investigations.
• Governance, Risk & Awareness: maintain policies, run trainings, report risks to IT leadership.
