Job summary

Hitachi Cyber is seeking a Frontier AI Security Specialist to help clients identify, secure, monitor, and respond to risks in AI-powered applications and LLM/RAG systems. You will work with specialists across multiple security disciplines to deliver end-to-end AI security engagements in diverse environments.

This role emphasizes hands-on security practice, not AI research, with training on AI methodologies and frameworks to enable secure AI adoption.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cybersecurity disciplines including pentest, GRC, appsec, detection, IR, or tooling development.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical/analytical field or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering client-facing engagements and presenting findings.
• Strong ability to map architectures, data flows, and security controls.
• Practical scripting/automation experience, particularly Python.
• Experience within defined scopes of work and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent written communication and deliverable creation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and inventory AI systems; assess risks and controls per NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, EU AI Act.
• Design and validate AI security controls in development and CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform threat modeling and adversarial testing of AI systems and RAG workflows.
• Document findings and provide remediation recommendations to technical and executive stakeholders.
• Define AI security monitoring requirements and develop detection use cases.
• Develop incident response procedures for AI systems and run tabletop exercises.
• Prepare technical assessment reports and present actionable recommendations.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement of AI security services and methodologies.
• Collaborate with specialists across offensive, appsec, GRC, detection, and IR teams.
