Job summary

Join Cisco's Enterprise AI team to embed security into the Secure SDLC for cloud-native apps. You will lead threat modeling, secure design reviews, and implement container and API security across CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes-based environments.

You will safeguard AI/ML workloads, manage supply chain security, and collaborate with engineering to remediate findings, establishing robust security standards across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity or cloud security engineering.
• 3+ years securing GCP, Azure, or AWS environments in production.
• Experience integrating security controls into CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes environments.

Responsibilities

• Embed security into the Secure SDLC by defining guardrails across design, development, testing, and deployment phases.
• Integrate and optimize security tooling (SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets scanning) within CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes environments.
• Lead threat modeling and secure design reviews for cloud-native applications.
• Drive container and Kubernetes security practices, including image hardening and runtime controls.
• Define and enforce API security standards (authentication, authorization, rate limiting).
• Triage, prioritize, and remediate security findings with engineering teams.
• Establish secure coding standards and provide guidance on OWASP Top 10 and remediation practices.
• Enhance software supply chain security through dependency management and build protections.
