Job summary

Ajaia is seeking a Head of Marketing to set positioning and content strategy for the brand and product suite. You will launch the podcast from scratch, lead the social presence, and write or edit the majority of output under our name.

You will report directly to the founders. This role rewards a creative seat first, with AI-driven work that moves quickly and requires strong editorial judgment. On-site in New York is required.

Qualifications

• Strong writing talent with real editorial taste.
• Experience building or growing an audience, publication, or channel.
• Clear point of view on AI and able to publish under own name.
• AI fluent: uses AI daily to draft, edit, and produce content.
• Willingness to work on-site in New York.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Nice to have: launched a podcast, newsletter, or show.
• Personal following or publication of meaningful size.
• Experience marketing to enterprise or B2B buyers.
• Combination of agency and in-house experience.

Responsibilities

• Set positioning for Ajaia and the product suite across all published content.
• Launch Ajaia's podcast from scratch and manage early guests.
• Write and shape the content that carries the strongest point of view.
• Identify two to three channels to invest in this quarter.
• Develop AI-assisted workflows to scale a small team.
• Define a quarterly pipeline number and report progress honestly.
• Coordinate with marketing and offshore partners to align calendars.
• Report to founders on what works and what to adjust.
