Qualifications

• Current pursuit of an undergraduate or master's degree in a quantitative field.
• Solid grasp of applied statistics and ability to apply to measurement problems.
• Foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts and ability to discuss model behavior with engineers.
• Interest in governance, policy, or content safety; appreciation for scale challenges.
• Strong structured thinking; ability to decompose ambiguous problems into clear goals.
• Ability to communicate in English and Chinese to collaborate with global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute evaluation plans for AI safety models — define objectives, select metrics, and determine what good looks like for each use case.
• Build and maintain high-quality ground truth datasets; design sampling and labeling processes.
• Analyze model performance using statistical methods to produce actionable insights for teams.
• Collaborate with algorithm engineers to translate findings into improvement directions; participate in prompt design and model configuration.
• Communicate evaluation results and governance standards to cross‑functional partners and align on definitions.
• Continuously improve evaluation processes; identify gaps and scale evaluation systems with model evolution.
