Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Consultant, AI Risk & Validation to help design, build, validate and govern AI solutions within the Regulatory, Risk & Forensic practice. You will work on AI and agentic AI projects, validate models, assess trust and governance, and translate technical findings into actionable recommendations for client delivery.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, or a similar quantitative field
• 2+ years of experience developing or supporting Artificial Intelligence solutions using Python and JavaScript
• Experience with generative AI tools such as Hugging Face, OpenAI APIs, Llama, Gemini, Claude, Granite, RAG, or Stable Diffusion
• Experience with agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, or CrewAI and at least one DL framework such as PyTorch or TensorFlow/Keras
• Experience deploying AI solutions on AWS/Azure/GCP including Docker or Kubernetes
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
• Ability to travel 20%, on average, based on work and clients served

Responsibilities

• Supporting design, build, implementation and delivery of AI and agentic AI solutions under project leadership
• Developing proofs of concept, experiments, and components using ML, NLP, image analysis, time series, graph methods, and retrieval-augmented generation
• Performing AI solution validation activities including data review, testing, monitoring, and production-readiness assessment
• Evaluating trustworthiness and control considerations (hallucination risk, grounding, bias, explainability, robustness, privacy, security, audit logging)
• Translating technical analysis into clear findings and recommendations; collaborating with Deloitte specialists to strengthen solution design and validation approaches
• Work independently and as part of a team; communicate clearly; manage multiple tasks; meet deadlines
