Job summary

Freddie Mac in McLean, VA seeks a risk governance professional to advance the EO&T AI risk program and third-party risk activities. You will administer AI solution intake, support end-user guidance, and perform vendor risk reviews to ensure regulatory compliance and strong controls.

The role focuses on model governance, SOC reviews, and governance framework implementation. A minimum of 3 years in technology risk or related fields and relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, finance, risk management or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in technology, 3rd party, operational risk management, project management, or related governance and compliance functions.
• Experience in IT audit, operational risk management, regulatory compliance, or Big Four consulting is preferred.
• Knowledge of COSO Internal Control Framework and NIST controls.
• Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, CPA, CIA, Security+ or similar are strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Administer AI solution and GenAI use case intake activities.
• Provide guidance to end users regarding intake requirements and inventory maintenance.
• Perform supplier risk reviews for designated critical vendors.
• Support process automation to improve efficiency and data quality.
• Participate in AI Clearinghouse enhancements and testing.
• Prepare management reporting and develop procedures and user guides.
