Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an AI and Emerging Technologies Risk Manager to coordinate intake, governance, and oversight of AI use cases across the lifecycle. You will partner with WCIB leaders and Second Line of Defense teams to ensure risks are identified, assessed, documented, and remediated.

The role emphasizes translating policy into practical business guidance, driving governance artifacts, and sustaining a strong risk culture with executive-ready communication and issue management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Typically more than 10 years of applicable experience.
• Strong knowledge of risk/compliance/audit competencies and financial services regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary accountable risk leader for WCIB AI use cases, pilots, and proofs of concept.
• Provide oversight for AI use case portfolio and ensure documentation throughout the AI lifecycle.
• Translate policy requirements into actionable business guidance and drive governance artifacts.
