Job summary

Edward Jones is seeking a Senior Risk and Control Associate to help govern AI risks across strategic initiatives, including EJ Ventures, EJ Labs, and Pricing. You will support risk-based governance, issue management, and control testing while coordinating with business, product, technology, and risk partners.

The role emphasizes staying current with AI risk developments, building governance processes, and providing practical guidance to partners within a hybrid office model in Tempe or St. Louis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 6+ years of risk management experience required.
• Experience in financial services.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and GRC tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to tailor communication based on the audience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out risk and control activities per the Enterprise Risk Management Program.
• Advise on division processes and risk results.
• Support AI lifecycle governance and risk mitigation efforts.
• Assess emerging AI capabilities and governance approaches.
• Focus on issue/incident management, control testing, and risk assessment support.
