Job summary

BECU seeks an Enterprise Risk Analyst - AI Risk to shape how the credit union responsibly adopts and manages AI across the organization. You will identify, assess, and monitor AI-related risks, influence governance, and strengthen risk management practices while balancing innovation with member protection.

Collaborate with technology, governance, and business leaders, support regulatory readiness, and translate complex AI risks into actionable insights for informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/statistics/other quantitative areas or equivalent, relevant work experience required.
• 1 year of applicable Enterprise Risk or Audit experience; 2 years preferred.
• Knowledge of AI risk management, AI governance, and related frameworks; experience with risk controls and governance structures.

Responsibilities

• AI Risk Assessments: Identify, assess, and evaluate AI-related risks across the organization.
• Independent Review & Challenge: Perform reviews and validations of AI systems, models, data, and processes.
• Risk Monitoring: Monitor AI risks, controls, and performance indicators.
• AI Governance Support: Develop and execute AI governance frameworks and oversight activities.
• Enterprise AI Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of AI models, tools, and agents with risk classifications.
