Job summary

Outlier is hiring detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media from remote locations. You will rate live conversations with AI voice models, compare AI-generated images and videos, and explain any misalignments in writing.

This freelance role offers flexible hours and a pay rate up to $15 per hour, with incentives based on project needs. Team members across multiple countries provide feedback to help improve AI reasoning.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong written communication and clear speech.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
• Comfortable thinking quickly and explaining realistic scenarios in conversation.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations with AI voice models in English.
• Ranking how natural and useful outputs sound and whether they follow prompts.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot distortions, flickering, or mismatches in audio/video.
• Writing clear explanations of observed issues in English, tied to what was heard or seen.
• Evaluating images, videos, captions, and audio to assess adherence, quality, and realism.
