Job summary

Bosch Research and Technology Center North America in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking an experienced AI researcher to lead projects on Foundation Models, time-series analysis, and multi-sensor data fusion for ADAS and related Bosch products. You will collaborate across disciplines to advance research ideas, publish results, and contribute to product-ready AI systems.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s in CS/EE/IT or related field with 2–3 years professional research experience.
• Expertise with Time Series Foundation Models beyond forecasting.
• Deep learning with sensor data and integration with DL methods.
• Proficiency in Python and PyTorch (torchaudio, torchvision, torchmetrics); PyTorch Lightning familiarity.
• Strong publication record in top venues (ICASSP, NeurIPS, ICML, ICCV, CVPR, ECCV) or patents.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead AI research projects to label, predict, classify, cluster, describe and fuse multi-sensor data to improve ADAS functionality.
• Architect, design and validate multi-modal DL and TSFM models for multivariate time series.
• Integrate TSFM with other modalities like video/images to enhance context understanding.
• Offer expert insights to management for R&D trajectory and investments.
• Stay updated on innovations; publish findings and file patents when applicable.
