Job summary

Bosch RTC-NA Sunnyvale is seeking a researcher to advance Foundation Model powered AI enablers for autonomous driving and related Bosch products. You will collaborate across AI research domains, fuse multi-sensor data, and push TSFM advancements.

The role emphasizes impactful publications, patents, and collaboration with academia and industry partners, with a focus on scalable, trustworthy AIoT solutions for a range of Bosch applications.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc with 2-3 years of relevant experience.
• Expertise with Time Series FMs beyond forecasting.
• Strong signal processing with sensor data and integration with deep learning.
• Proficiency in Python and PyTorch (torchaudio, torchvision, torchmetrics) / PyTorch Lightning familiarity.
• Strong publication record in venues like ICASSP, NeurIPS, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV or patents/open-source work.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI research projects that label, predict, classify, cluster, describe and fuse multi-sensor data to enable ADAS capabilities.
• Architect, design and validate multimodal deep learning and Time Series Foundation Models for multivariate signals.
• Integrate TSFM with videos/images to enhance context understanding.
• Provide expert insights to management for R&D strategy and investment decisions.
• Publish findings and/or file patents to disseminate research advances.
