Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) at Janelia Research Campus in Ashburn, VA seeks a Project Manager I–III to drive AI@HHMI initiatives. You will shape projects from inception to closure, manage budgets and staffing, and coordinate with leaders, scientists, and engineers.

You will organize reviews, recruit and onboard staff, and ensure compliance while collaborating with legal, finance, and IT teams. A master’s or PhD and 3+ years of PM experience are required.

Competenze

• Master's degree or Doctorate in any field.
• At least three years of project management experience in scientific or industrial R&D.
• Experience with budgets, timelines and staffing.
• Ability to work with leadership, scientists and engineers.

Mansioni

• Guide projects from approval to closure, tracking milestones and records.
• Keep budgets and staffing accurate; coordinate with Finance on annual budget.
• Prepare briefings, meetings and reports for the Head of AI@HHMI and HHMI leadership.
