Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. seeks a Senior Principal Scientist to spearhead AI research and development across Secure Work Enablement (SWE).

You will lead teams of scientists and engineers to translate requirements into concrete deliverables, invent new product experiences, and advance state-of-the-art GenAI models for enterprise collaboration. You will collaborate with internal Amazon partners, shape the long-term science vision, and mentor senior researchers while advancing

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Computer science/Math or related field.
• Experience building real-time systems involving Agentic AI, Personalization and Reinforced Learning with successful delivery to customers.
• Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design and complexity analysis.
• Ability to develop machine learning platform strategy in the domain of recommender systems.
• Demonstrated track record of peer-reviewed scientific publications that advance state-of-the art for applied science.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI research and development across teams to deliver concrete deliverables.
• Translate business requirements into product experiences for teams and agents.
• Invent new approaches to help customers achieve better results using natural language as the interface.
• Define a long-term science vision and translate it into actionable plans for the team.
