Qualifications

• PhD or master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency in C++ or Rust.
• Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or JAX.
• Research or engineering experience in EDA, semiconductor design, agentic AI, or GPU-accelerated computing.

Responsibilities

• Develop new AI and agentic methods for semiconductor design and verification.
• Build novel agent-native tools and algorithms for autonomous workflows.
• Develop GPU-accelerated algorithms for design, analysis, search, simulation, and optimization.
• Create tools that expose design state, constraints, actions, feedback, and objectives for agents.
• Build agents that understand engineering objectives, use EDA tools, and execute workflows.
• Research and implement LLMs, reinforcement learning, parallel algorithms, and program synthesis.
• Develop solutions for functional verification, RTL, synthesis, timing, and physical design.
• Evaluate engineering agents with private or customer-specific data.
• Collaborate with research, product, platform, and solutions teams across San Jose, Austin, and Taiwan.
