Job summary

MBZUAI seeks a Social Media Manager to lead all owned channels, focusing on the AI developer and research community. You will craft strategy, drive content campaigns, and maintain a distinct brand voice across X, LinkedIn, Reddit and more.

You will collaborate with marketing and editorial teams to repurpose content, design native social clips, and launch campaigns. A data-driven mindset, trend awareness, and creativity are essential to success.

Qualifications

• 3-15 years of hands-on social channel experience.
• Proven ability to adapt style and voice across different formats, platforms and audiences.
• Experience with X, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube etc.required
• Strong command of data—from implementing and using various analytics tools, to regularly interpreting insights.
• Ability to meet multi-threaded/cross functional deadlines.
• Passionate about technology, AI, Open Source—intellectually curious and always learning.

Responsibilities

• Grow IFM social channels and engage key communities across audiences relevant to AI.
• Collaborate with Content Marketing and Editorial Lead to adapt content for social posts and create platform-native content.
• Own execution by creating and operationalizing processes, pipelines and content calendars.
• Write the majority of content to maintain a consistent brand voice.
• Brainstorm fresh ideas and experiment with formats to stay on top of trends and priorities.
• Create and produce social content and help produce with others.
• Stay plugged into online culture and track industry trends to tailor informative and entertaining posts.
• Develop community and voice; track metrics.
