Job summary

Slalom is seeking a Data Architect to design scalable cloud data platforms and guide architecture decisions across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will partner with client teams, engineers, and Slalom’s Centers of Excellence to deliver modern data solutions, AI‑ready foundations, and governance‑driven architectures.

You will mentor engineers, participate in workshops, and help grow the data‑engineering practice while collaborating with business development to shape client solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data engineering, data architecture, or related fields.
• Experience designing enterprise‑scale cloud data platforms.
• Strong communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve cloud‑native data architectures (data lakes, lakehouses, data warehouses).
• Lead architecture efforts from discovery through implementation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver data platforms across cloud platforms.
• Support solution design and pre‑sales activities for clients.
