Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Process Improvement Associate in the Transformation Office to learn AI‑first prototyping by building alongside senior team members. You will assess processes, analyze data, and craft future designs to improve operations, creating working prototypes rather than slides.

Under guidance, you contribute to builds, sharpen technical credibility, and grow toward leading initiatives. The role requires energy, curiosity, and a bias toward action to demonstrate what's possible

Qualifications

• Professional work or internship experience delivering strategic recommendations with measurable results.
• Demonstrated hands-on ability to build — code, apps, or working outputs in academic or early-career settings.
• Practical experience using generative AI, copilots, or agentic tooling to produce real outputs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with client management and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in data analytics, interpreting models and communicating data requirements.
• Growing technical acumen to reason about architecture, data, and integration.
• Business fluency to frame problems for stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Excellent communication and storytelling to convey concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bias toward action, comfortable with ambiguity, resourceful with incomplete information.
• Foundational understanding of AI concepts and identifying AI-driven opportunities.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Support hands-on prototyping — contribute to apps, point solutions, and agentic workflows with the team.
• Assess and map processes to enhance operational performance within PI engagements.
• Break down problems with hypothesis-driven thinking to derive insights and recommendations.
• Leverage AI tooling under guidance to produce real outputs and grow credibility.
• Capture business rules and decision logic into durable assets.
• Learn to build AI-first solutions with firm-prescribed controls and guardrails.
• Craft narratives to communicate complex ideas and influence change.
• Anticipate adoption and consider change management and human capital impact.
• Own workstream deliverables from planning to execution with quality outcomes.
