Job summary

DriveWealth is seeking an AI Product intern to design and prototype AI-powered agents within a fintech environment. You will work with senior engineers, learn modern GenAI patterns, and build end-to-end agentic solutions using LLMs, APIs, and automation frameworks.

The program runs 10-12 weeks from May–August 2027, with in-office days 3–4 per week. Compensation is an hourly rate of $35-$40. Graduation must be in 2027 or 2028, with potential for full-time consideration based on performance.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a technical field.
• Experience programming in Python and SQL.
• Familiarity with APIs, JSON, and service integration.
• Foundational understanding of large language models and their applications.
• Strong curiosity and willingness to explore new technologies.
• Growth mindset and ability to iterate quickly.
• Ability to reason about workflows and edge cases.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and develop agentic AI workflows that automate or augment business or engineering tasks.
• Build internal tools or proof-of-concept systems that combine LLMs, APIs, and automation frameworks.
• Experiment with different agent architectures and document tradeoffs.
• Apply best practices when building AI-driven automation.
• Evaluate agent behavior for reliability, correctness, and failure modes, and propose improvements.
• Document designs, experiments, and lessons learned for reuse by the team.
• Demo your work directly to customers and leadership.
