Job summary

Birlasoft, a global leader in Cloud, AI, and Digital technologies, is seeking an experienced AI Product Owner to lead AI-driven solutions across underwriting, claims, and other insurance domains. You will bridge business and technology, translating needs into product requirements and working with data science, engineering, and delivery teams.

You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of AI products, define roadmaps, set KPIs, and ensure adoption, governance, and alignment with enterprise strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Product Ownership or Business Analysis.
• Strong insurance domain knowledge (Underwriting and Claims).
• Experience delivering AI/ML use cases in a business setting.
• Proficient in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and documenting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end lifecycle of AI products from ideation to scaling.
• Prioritize opportunities across Underwriting, Claims, and other functions.
• Translate business needs into requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Develop roadmaps aligned with enterprise priorities.
• Lead backlog planning with data science, engineering, and delivery teams.
• Define KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure successful adoption and change management.
