Job summary

BlackCube Labs is seeking an AI Product Owner for a 6-month contract based in Charlotte. This role requires 3 days in office per week with locals only, and an emphasis on translating business needs into automated AI solutions.

The candidate will bridge business and tech teams, manage the automation backlog, and ensure alignment with regulatory and enterprise standards while supporting testing and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience with AI/Gen-AI and multi-agent workflows.
• Banking experience or regulated environments a plus.
• Understanding of System Development Lifecycle and information security requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading engineering teams on AI/automation projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between business lines and technology partners to deliver automated solutions.
• Translate business processes into clear user stories and groom the backlog for automation delivery.
• Support automation testing and facilitate user acceptance testing.
• Conduct product demos and communicate risks with mitigation options.
• Drive accountability and align initiatives with enterprise standards and release cycles.
• Collaborate with Business Execution and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives.
• Respond to developer needs and clarify client requirements to guide functionality decisions.
