Job summary

RBC Capital Markets seeks an AI Product Manager to lead desk-facing AI/data products for pricing and trading contexts, partnering with Sales & Trading to shape, prioritize, and govern initiatives.

You will bridge the desk with engineering, data science, and quantitative partners, own the roadmap, frame problems, define acceptance criteria, drive adoption, and ensure governance and risk controls are understood before deployment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering AI, analytics, or data products for professional users in capital markets or regulated settings.
• Proven ability translating stakeholder requests into scoped, testable definitions with clear success criteria.
• Experience prioritizing competing requests from multiple stakeholders and aligning scope/sequence.
• Proven product management practices: discovery, roadmap ownership, acceptance criteria, adoption measurement.
• Applied AI and Generative AI fluency with engineering/data science partners; building models not required.
• Quantitative fluency in pricing, trading, and risk concepts to work with quantitative stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders and concise framing of options.
• Understanding of Sales & Trading workflows within Capital Markets.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize desk-facing applied AI opportunities for Sales & Trading.
• Frame ambiguous commercial questions as scoped, testable product definitions.
• Own the product roadmap and sequencing with explicit prioritization and trade-offs.
• Bridge between the desk and engineering, data science, and quantitative partners with clear criteria.
• Drive adoption of delivered capabilities and learn from user feedback after release.
• Carry initiatives through risk, compliance, and AI governance with documented controls.
