Job summary

RBC Capital Markets seeks an AI Product Manager to lead AI and data product initiatives for Sales & Trading, bridging desk need with engineering and data science. You will own the roadmap, translate complex questions into testable opportunities, and drive adoption while ensuring governance and risk controls are met.

Required is 5+ years delivering AI/data products in capital markets, with strong quantitative and communication skills to partner with senior stakeholders and traders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering AI/analytics/data products for professional users in capital markets or regulated contexts.
• Experience turning stakeholder requests into scoped, testable definitions with clear success criteria.
• Ability to prioritize competing requests and align scope, sequencing, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience applying product management practices including discovery, roadmap ownership, acceptance criteria, adoption measurement.
• Applied AI and Generative AI fluency with engineering and data science partners; building models not required.
• Quantitative comfort with pricing, trading and risk concepts; able to work with quantitative stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders; concise framing of options and trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize desk-facing applied AI opportunities for Sales & Trading.
• Frame business needs into scoped product definitions with testable criteria.
• Own the product roadmap and sequencing across initiatives with trade-offs.
• Bridge desk and engineering, data science, and quantitative partners.
• Drive adoption and learn from user feedback after release, focusing on usability and value.
• Navigate risk, compliance, and AI governance early in capability development.
